We collect only what is necessary to provide the service:

• Account information — email address, display name, and role (client / therapist)
• Chat messages — your conversations with the Pragma AI, stored encrypted and used to generate your clinical profile
• Mood & session data — mood logs and therapy session records associated with your account
• Consent record — the timestamp at which you accepted our informed consent, kept for audit purposes
• Usage data — anonymised analytics (page views, feature interactions) to improve the product

Your data is used solely to:

• Provide and personalise the Pragma service
• Generate a structured clinical profile for therapist matching (not the raw transcript)
• Send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset, session reminders)
• Comply with legal obligations

We will never sell your data to third parties. We will never use your mental health conversations for advertising.

Your raw chat transcript is never shared with your matched therapist without your explicit consent. Therapists receive a structured clinical profile summarising themes and severity — not the verbatim conversation.

We work with trusted third-party service providers to operate the platform — including cloud infrastructure, AI inference, and email delivery. All providers are contractually bound to process your data only as directed by us and in accordance with applicable data protection law.

Your account data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time by emailing hello@pragmachat.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest. We apply access controls so each user can only access their own records. Our infrastructure follows security best practices to protect against unauthorised access, disclosure, or loss.

Under applicable data protection law you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Object to or restrict certain processing
